I'm pretty sure I'm going bald!

While I was pregnant, I loved my hair! It was so full and shiny, I felt like a hair model. Even my hairdresser commented on how spectacular it was...and she's a professional, she knows good hair when she feels it. Now, however, it is coming out in huge chunks!!!!!! I can't take a shower without having to clean out the drain afterwards. When I comb my hair, I feel like the majority of it ends up on the bathroom floor. Aughhhh!!!!!!!! Has anyone else experienced such awful hair loss? Tell me this will pass...I don't know if I am ready for Rogaine for Women.

Yea -- another person I have reconnected with through the blogging world! I am so excited to hear how you guys are doing and to see pictures of your baby girl. Tell Matthew I said hello too and keep the updates coming!

Oh, and the hairloss thing...completely normal and happened to me both times. Something about the hormones according to my doctor and my hairdresser too! My fingernails went through the same thing...when I was pregnant they were long & strong; after, they were short, thin, and brittle.

Just another weird thing that happens with having kiddos!

Normal. My hairdresser has already prepared me for it. She says it usually starts acouple of months after you give birth, continues for 3-6 mo., then stops. She says it's something about the hormones suspending the normal shedding cycle when you're preg.

P.S.
So have you talked to Leslie D. Echols lately and does she have a blog and if she doesn't can you talk her into getting one so I can talk to her too? :) I think you said you came across mine because of her, so I'm curious to hear how she knew about mine.
