In case you were wondering

We are here in Hattiesburg. We arrived at 2:30am Saturday. We had thought about driving to Little Rock Friday night, spending the night with Matthew's sister and brother-in-law and then getting up Saturday morning and driving the rest of the way, but we decided to drive straight through.

It was bit brutal at times, especially when we were driving through an awful thunder/rain storm. I looked up on my phone to find out what the weather was like and it said we were driving through a tornado watch. I pictured us being caught up in the tornado and twirling around and landing somewhere in Florida. I told Matthew, after we had made it through, that at least we would have all been together.

We are driving home tomorrow and are hoping for no crazy storms. Both girls were great on the drive down, so we are hoping for the same harmony on the drive back.

Thank goodness we have a DVD player and a ton of DVD's to entertain Nora. We don't even care that her eyes are practically popping out of her head from so much viewing. At least she is quiet and happy. And isn't that what we all want for our children? Happiness.

Glad you made it safely!

I don't know how families traveled before portable DVD players. Adam's eyes also bug out on long trips, but it makes life so much easier!

Praise the Lord for DVD players! Ours is a lifesaver. We will definitely be using it for the trip down to Florida. BTW, I found a beach tent. Should I get it? It would fit all the kids.
