7 Random Things About Me

Chandra tagged me. It has been a while since I have been "tagged", thanks Chandra for showing the love!

Here are 7 random things about me:

1. I love the Today Show. First thing I do when I wake up in the mornings is to turn it on. Sadly, I do not get to watch much of it nowadays, but it is always on and I can hear them talking while we are eating breakfast.

2. Matthew and I love playing the game, "If we had a million dollars...". It's a great game to play on long car rides. We definitely would pay off school loans and our mortgage first (our only debt). After that, build a house and live off of the interest for the rest of our lives. Pretty exciting, huh? Oh yeah, put money aside for our kids college.

3. I have an embroidering machine but have not embroidered a single thing for Elyn. Poor baby girl!!! My goal is to embroider her a few things before she turns 7-months-old. That's ridiculous. I should have done this way before now! Oh, wait, I did embroider her some things newborn things...before she was born.

4. I went to a spinning class for the first time last Friday. I was really worried that my body was going to hurt on Saturday, but it didn't. I guess I didn't work hard enough. It sure felt like I was working hard when I thought my legs were about to fall off of my body while spinning. I was going to go again today but we have been taking it easy. And that has been nice.

5. I despise baths. I actually think I have mentioned this in a post before, but while I was cleaning out our tub that is never used today I was reminded of it. If I ever decided to do a medicine free birth (which I never would!), I would never go the water bath option. It grosses me out to even think about sitting in tepid water while enduring the pains of labor.

6. I haven't been to the eye doctor since I was pregnant with NORA. I know, I know. Good news though. Nora bent my glasses this weekend when she accidentally stepped on them, so it looks like an eye doctor appointment is in my new future.

7. A show that I like to watch on Saturdays while cleaning or doing laundry is America's Next Top Model...guilty pleasure I guess. Tyra Banks drives me nuts though. The reason I love it is because of the challenges...they make those girls do some insane things.
