Not in my family...but in my prayers

****Update on baby Luke: He is off of the respirator and if he continues to improve, should be home in a few days. He is still eating through a feeding tube, but his daddy was able to feed him a bottle today. I'm sure the family was appreciate your continued prayers.

I am so fortunate to not have experienced any big tragedy in my family. I am lucky, blessed, and very thankful.

I realize that at any moment my world could be rocked and my relatively healthy, complete family could look different than it does right now.

I have been keeping up with some families who have had their worlds rocked.

If you have time, check out their blogs and pray for them. Our God is a healing God and a God of miracles.

Thank you.

The Stevens Family-this blog is private, but I am sure the family would appreciate your prayers. Their little boy, Luke, was born by emergency c-section on Tuesday and has had some complications since then. He is in the NICU and on a respirator because he is having trouble breathing and is being monitored closely. Pray for his parents and his older sisters and brother.

Isn't that the truth. Our lives could be turned around at the drop of a hat. We have to remember that God has a plan and a purpose for each and every one of us. I'm thinking primarily of little Gavin and all the lives he has touched in such a short period of time. How many lives has a possibly changed? The number could be endless. Our hearts are sad, but God is rejoicing for those who may have turned their lives around. We can't question, we just have to have faith and pray God's will be done.

Sure does make our "grips" and inconveniences not so important.
