Thanksgiving activities

Our Thanksgiving, in pictures.

We had brunch at my Aunt Karen and Uncle Bill's house. They live in the country will actual horses across the street from them. Nora, and all the other kids, loved them!
Nora especially loved the freedom of running on the "unbusy" streets. I was nervous of speeding cars, so I stayed right beside her.

Elyn loved the wet grass and rolling around in it.
Of course, Nora LOVED getting to see Bailey!
This cart belonged to my cousins when they were little (25 years ago). It was a big hit on Thanksgiving day!
All the kids, but Elyn, enjoyed it. I love this picture of Colton pushing the others.
Brunch.
Ughh, will she ever just look at the camera and smile without being silly again?
Elyn fell asleep while watching the parade. So sweet!
You can see how excited these kids were about getting their picture made with my grandmother. It was torture for them!
I mean, see how thrilled Bailey and Nora are!
One of the three dresses that the girls wore this weekend...so pretty!
Her eyes are so brown!
Little angels!
Every year, since I was little, we have made a gingerbread house. When we were little the gingerbread was made from scratch and cut out using blueprints...a lot of work! We're lucky now because so many stores make premade houses...all you have to do is add the decorations. And, yes, I get my kids NAKED to decorate.
Matthew and Elyn sharing some decorations.
Decorating
Yep, this one is ours.
Nora was very serious about her decorating. And candy eating.
Went to see Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer at Casa Manana while we were in Texas.
After the show, we went to see Santa. I was prepared for Nora to have a breakdown, like she has the other two years we have visited him. She surprised me though and walked right up to him and started talking to him. Wow, we have rounded a corner!
However, Elyn took up where Nora left off.
Our last night in Texas, my mom had a bunch of people over for dinner. It was nice to see everyone one last time.
It was a fun night...as you can see in Poppy and Glenn's expressions. Ha ha ha ha!

Okay, so, great Thanksgiving! Now on to Christmas!

I'm so glad you posted a "picture with Grandma" photo. My girls act like it is a fate worse than death to pose with the elderly. Gorgeous dresses. Especially the white ones!
