Historical

A new president was sworn into office today. President Barack Obama is the 44th President of The United States of America.

Whether you voted for him or not really doesn't matter now. He is our country's leader.

I will pray for him and his family as they work to make our country better. As his family transitions to the White House, so our country transitions with them.

Definitely praying for them. i have to say, though, the first lady has earned a lot of respect from me already. She chose a "little known" designer to make her dress for today, and it was major for that designer in times like these. Very classy of her. Oh, AND as far as design goes, they plan to decorate on a budget with ikea and target in the white house. They are already gaining some major props from me!!!

Brad was watching something the other day on FoxNews, Bill O'Reilly, maybe, and their online poll question was, "Do you want Obama to succeed as President?"

We both cracked up. I mean, who in their right mind would NOT want our President to succeed? (Other than terrorists, I guess.)

Completely off the subject from your post, but your blog is now pulling the right date you blogged via my blog list. Strange that just one day it said, "Dallas...2 days ago" when it has said, "Dallas...9 months ago" for the past almost year! Crazy blogger!
