Party Time!

It is definitely the season for parties!  Since I am absolutely horrible at documenting our lives these day, I thought I would brag that I took pictures at two events…I’m awesome.

The first party was Elyn’s party and I didn’t get to go to that one…sigh.  She got to wear her pajamas and watch Polar Express…I am sure she had a great time!

The second party was Nora’s and I got to go to that one!!!!!!  She was SO excited that I got to be there and I was pretty excited too!

Here is her class…the kids are all so sweet and I love to hear them interact with one another!

We went to another party that night, with our former small group.  I made a peppermint cake and it was pretty good!  However, it was not a quick cake to make.  I didn’t read the directions closely enough when picking it out and, thankfully, re-read it the day before the get-together and was able to allow enough time to make it.  I will be reading recipes a lot closer in the future.  Here is the recipe, if you are looking to kill some time and strengthen your arm muscles.

We went to the Walkers house and had a great dinner and the girls got to cut out sugar cookies…

Elyn couldn’t reach very well…she figured out how to reach better.

Sydney thought it was a great idea too!

It was a fun day of parties!  We are so thankful for good friends and good schools!

I am EXHAUSTED right now…thank you baby-ha!  I am physically and mentally exhausted by about 8:30 every night.  I look around and see everything that needs to be done and am just not finding the motivation or energy.  Thankfully Matthew has enough of both for about 10 people!

It would be great if I could get everything done from the hours of 8am to 12pm because I have a boatload of energy during those hours.  So do Nora and Elyn.  And they want to share it with me and be with me…it kind of hard to get all of those things done while they are needing me.  Which is just fine by me!
