My, my, my! It's amazing how much destruction one small person can do in such a short amount of time. Nora is still not walking, but that has not seemed to slow her down any. She can get into just about anything and I'm sure it won't take her too long to figure out the safety latches on cabinets :). Here are a few pictures of her playing:
She is definitely keeping me busy! It's a wonder that my house ever gets clean anymore! It seems like that is what my nights are now for. Put her to bed and break out the broom. It is nearly impossible to get any cleaning done while she is awake. So, we just play :).
She is enjoying her new car seat. She looks so tiny in it and it looks like her neck is going to break off when she falls asleep in it. Any suggestions on how to save her neck? What have you other mommies done? This is a picture of her in it right after we got it delivered. She just woke up from her nap and we are in our living room.
Nora and I are off to San Antonio on Thursday. We are meeting the majority of the women in my family and some friends for the Women of Faith Conference. It is the National Conference. We are really excited and the weather is supposed to be incredible. My mom has offered to watch Nora during the conference so that I can actually go. I am sure it will be a very inspiring and uplifting weekend. We come back home on Sunday afternoon, so I will blog about it then.

HILARIOUS. LOve the tupperware pic...and my she has so many books!!! did you join a book club or something???! ;)
I have a question...do you monogram all of her clothes? I mean that question as in: do you to it yourself? I remember a past blog where you had a video and you said that noise was the embroidery machine. Im thinking of investing in one (eventually) and I was wondering if you had any advice on the brand, etc. I am already embroidery girl with Aiden, and if I have a lil girl...well, we're in trouble. do you have any advice to give?? thanks for letting me put such a long comment on here!

Those are the cutest pictures of Nora! I especially love the first one. As far as the car seat goes, we have the same problem with Bailey's neck. We roll up a recieving blanket and put it in between the car seat and his neck (whatever side he is leaning towards). That seems to do the trick. Give my sweet little cousin a hug for me and Bailey.
Have a great time on your trip! I am sure it will be a very uplifting conference.
Sam's neck (at 4 1/2) still flops bad when he is asleep in the car (and he is just in a booster seat). I have never figured out anything that would work for my boys that wasn't too hot, they didn't pull off and throw down, etc.
Looks like turning ONE started with a bang! Enjoy!!
You know that's a denominational conference, don't you? I hope you are going there to contend for the faith and vehemently defend the pattern of the TRUE church, and I hope you will not allow yourself to be swayed by damnable messages from false teachers.
Thanks Marshall, I'll be on guard :).
Cute pictures. She is a fiesty little girl! I am sure she is lots of fun. You just have to laugh and enjoy these little moments.Did you make Nora the pink shirt she is wearing? It is so cute. Have a great time at the conference.
Oh my goodness little NOra has got to be the cutest little girl ever! She makes me laugh just looking at all of the messes she makes to keep her mommy busy! I'm pretty sure that sweet little face could get away with murder. At least I could never tell it no for sure!
I, of course, know nothing about kids. But maybe you can try and get one of those neck pillows that you take on planes? haha, it might work.
I love those pictures! She is so adorable and obviously has a personality to match!
I just reread your blog about Nora's bday and realized that you are expecting again!! Congratulations!! I am so happy for you. I am sure that this one will be just as cute as Nora.
Dallas,
Hey! It was great to hear from you. We decided to check out your blog too. Nora is so cute! Time does fly with kids as I guess everyone tried to tell me. I hope you had a great time on your trip! We just got back from visiting some of Matt's family in Kentucky.
