Yesterday, I made Nora a dress...that she will be able to wear in 2-3 years. Sigh. This is an example of why I don't make clothes for my kids. I follow the pattern, using her measurements, and the dress turns out to be a tent.
At least she seems happy with it.
So, I made another, using different measurements. Measurements that are NOT Nora's, they are for a smaller child.
But the dress fits this time. And that is all that matters.
She is not as willing a model the second time around.
I'm going to make Elyn a dress today. Hopefully only ONE dress. These dresses will make another appearance at the beach, in two weeks.

You are so funny! Love the dress.
Cute dress and fabric. I'd love to be able to sew or atleast have the patience for it!!
Beautiful! (dresses and girls)
I am so impressed! I can't even sew curtain panels!!!
Those are fabulous. For real, that's a great color on Nora. I do that all the time, especially when I've spent a lot of time putting in zippers and what-not and then it ends up fitting all three put together ...
So cute! I love that you had the patience to make the second one!! I too love that color on Nora. You've inspired me!
Super cute dresses! I really love that fabric. I'm jealous of your skills.
