This looks fun! And "doable." I may have to try it out but with scraps I have around the house. I refuse to buy new fabric since I still have no clue what I am doing...

I just bought my first sewing machine last month, since I moved too far away from family to have them do all my hemming and mending for me. I've only managed to hem two pair of the boys pants, and I'm still intimidated by the contraption.
