Yeah, yeah, yeah…I know, it’s the 10th. This happened 6 days ago. I have been having computer issues (more on that later).
Wow, doesn’t Nora look excited to celebrate the big holiday.
She (Nora) was NOT excited about the shoes I chose for her to wear. They are precious navy sandals. How could she not like them? Anyway, by the time we reached our destination, she had finally decided they were okay because she could see her pink toenails through them.
We spent the 4th at a minor league baseball game! (We did that a few years ago too.)
Our friends, the Walkers, were there too.
Pretty Jasmine…sorry, no pic of Josh
The weather was perfect and the company was great.
We knew the fireworks were going to be spectacular, that was our main reason for going. We had pumped the girls up for a great show and it did not disappoint. Nora “oohed and aahed” for each and every one and Elyn kept shouting out the colors and telling me how pretty they were.
Sydney didn’t love the fireworks as much as Nora and Elyn. She never cried but she did have a pretty tight hold on Jasmine. (Hey, there is Josh in the background!)
After the game was over, the announcer said the kids could run the bases. At first we were like, “Nahhh, the line is FOREVER and our kids are really little, let’s not do it.” But then we were like, “Okay, let’s do it. It looks like fun and they are letting parents down on the field too…let’s go hop in line.” Well, we were too late. Us and the Walkers were the VERY LAST ones in line. An usher stepped right in front of us and said, “Sorry, no more on the field.”
ARE YOU KIDDING ME?
It was ridiculous! We had three little girls and he wouldn’t lets us on the field. Grrrrr.
Oh well. We made the girls happy with pictures of Dora and Sponge Bob.
It was a happy holiday!

I appreciate all of your comments regarding our computer! We actually do have an external hard drive…surprise, surprise.
However.
I lost all of 2009 pictures by transferring them from our computer to the hard drive.
Yep. I sure did. And I cried a lot too.
So, to say that I am a little gun shy with ole external hard drive would be a bit of an understatement. I’m AM going to give it another try though.
But, really, the pictures were not the only problem with the computer. It has been giving us all sorts of problems for awhile. It should probably visit the computer doctor for a little bit of a check-up.
Also, Matthew and I both need the computer for a good amount of work. It has become more difficult for us to schedule “computer time”. We are both involved in classes and need it for presentations and research.
Sooooooooooooo-this is Dallas coming to you LIVE (well, not really live) from a NEW computer.
And it’s pink.
Thank you Matthew!
I am COMMITED to using my external hard drive!
