Day three began bright and early too! We figured out from day two that the early bird catches the early lines.
The first thing we did was head to Africa and board the jeeps for the “safari”.
Here we are on the jeep, Elyn, me and Rives. Good golly, my stomach is SO BIG!
Nora, so excited for her first safari!
And now, a bunch of pictures of animals…I’m sorry.
On our way to see The Lion King show we happened upon a princess we had not seen…Pocahontas!
Meeko, her trusty raccoon was there too…Elyn was not too excited about Meeko.
Then, it was off to see The Lion King.
After the Lion King show (which was FAB!) we headed toward the Tree of Life to see The Bugs Life 3-D show…mistake! The books that I had read and the moms forum had said that if you have young children, it might be a tad scary for them.
They were correct.
The girls hated it and say it was their least favorite thing of the entire trip. Awesome.
Hoping to redeem ourselves, we took the girls to the Nemo Musical.
It was really cute! And the auditorium was HUGE, plenty of seating!
After snagging a gigantic turkey leg for a late lunch, we headed back to our hotel for a quick nap before dinner at Rainforest Café.
We met my mom at the café that night. We had never been to a Rainforest Café before, so we were excited about seeing what all the fuss was about.
Yum…our dessert.
Animal Kingdom closes earlier than the other parks (I guess those animals need their rest!) so we had to rush after dinner to see the other things that we wanted to.
Our first stop was The Boneyard, a playground in Dino Land. The girls LOVED it!!!! (Although Nora was a little disappointed that she did not get to actually to dig for dinosaurs-ha!)
After playing on the playground, we had just enough time to ride one more ride before the park closed.
It was the earliest evening we had up to that point so we let the girls have a good time in the big tub at the hotel…
The loved the tub and the early evening…but look how tired three full days at Disney World makes them…
Next up-last day at Disney…Hollywood Studios.

We loved Animal Kingdom! The safaria was our favorite thing. And we too ate at Rain Forest Cafe. The kids loved it and we had that same dessert! The kids went crazy over it. By day 3 ours were getting pretty tired also!
