Lucky and Blessed

I hope all you mamma's had a great day yesterday!

Mine was fantastic! The majority of the day was spent with my babies and my fab husband...can't ask for more than that!

I was greeted yesterday morning with cards and presents. Nora and Elyn had wrapped the presents earlier in the week and asked me every single day if this was the day I could open them.

Matthew let the girls pick out their own presents and they did pretty good...

Nora got me pink bracelets and Elyn picked out a pick necklace. Nora also made me a keychain at Mother's Day Out that says "MOM". It's big.

Very few pictures were taken yesterday...sigh.

Here is one after church...if you look carefully you can see my necklace and bracelets. Nora is also holding my new keychain.

Oh, this picture is not from Sunday, it's from Saturday. I just thought it was funny. Elyn is sound asleep and her baby is wide awake, staring at the ceiling. ha!

My mom got me a gift too....years 2006 and 2007 of my blog turned into book form!

They came in the mail on Saturday and I was so happy with how they turned out! I am anxious to start work on 2008...but I need several hours to spend on them!

I am in awe that I am called "Mom" by Nora and Elyn. It is an honor to be their mom! Everyday is not easy (oh, my my, everyday is CERTAINLY not easy) and everyday is not fun. BUT everyday is filled with love and laughter, at least for a second or two.

I love the way Elyn sleepily wakes up from nighttime or a nap and comes directly to me for some snuggle time.

I love the way that when I go in the room to say goodnight to the girls, Nora opens her arms up big and says, "I need a hug...and a kiss."

I love so many things about our day together.

I love being their mom, I love that they call me "mom, mamma, Mommy...and sometimes honey or Dallas".

I love you girls!
